Today was my day, could have thrown further: Arshad Nadeem

On my training and hard work, I was hopeful that I would win the gold medal, we will celebrate August 14 with this gold medal: Olympic champion.

Arshad Nadeem, who changed the 118-year history of the Paris Olympics and won the gold medal for Pakistan, said, "Today was my day, I could have thrown more than that". 

Arshad Nadeem threw the longest throw in Olympics history of 92.97 meters and won the gold medal by defeating Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra.

Arshad Nadeem, who gave Pakistan the first individual gold medal as an athlete in the Olympic Games, told the media after the competition that I was optimistic about my training and hard work that I would win the gold medal. 

Arshad Nadeem expressed his happiness on getting the gold medal for the country after 40 years and said that we will celebrate August 14 with this gold medal. 

Thanking the Pakistan Olympic Association and his coach, Arshad Nadeem said that it would not have been possible without their support.
