Former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has criticized PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi after Pakistan's unexpected defeat by Bangladesh in the first match of the ongoing Test series in Rawalpindi.

While congratulating Bangladesh on their historic victory against Pakistan on social networking site X (Twitter), chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi also ridiculed the surgery statement given after T20 World Cup 2024.

Hafeez wrote that surgery is going on till death.

Bangladesh tasted victory in the 13th match after consecutive defeats in 12 Test matches, while Pakistan suffered a crushing 10-wicket defeat at home.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Bangladesh for the historic win while referring to the Pakistan team, he wrote that unfortunately, the Pakistan cricket team did not perform well. Inshallah the green shirts will make a comeback in the upcoming match.

It should be noted that the second Test of the series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3.
