Bomb and bulletproof vehicles allotted to 14 persons in just 16 months of PDM government

Bulletproof vehicles are still in use with most of the personalities.

In just 16 months of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition government, 14 important personalities were given bullet-proof and bomb-proof vehicles. According to media reports, it is stated in the document from April 2022 to August 2023 that with the approval of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, bullet-proof vehicles were allotted to 14 important persons, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja was given a bullet-proof BMW jeep. Also, three former prime ministers were given bullet-proof bomb-proof security vehicles, these former prime ministers include Shahid Khaqan, Imran Khan and Raja Pervez Ashraf.

It is learned that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of JUIF, was given a bullet-proof Land Cruiser by the PDM government, former Special Assistant Attaullah Tarar was given a bullet-proof BMW jeep, former interior minister Rana Sanaullah was given a bullet-proof car. 

The Land Cruiser remained in use, Imran Khan was given a bullet-proof BMW jeep by the PDM government, two bullet-proof vehicles of the federal cabinet were in use with Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, and Raja Pervez Ashraf was given a bullet-proof land as Speaker. Cruiser and as the former Prime Minister was given a Land Cruiser.

The document revealed that former Chairman Public Accounts Committee Noor Alam Khan was allotted a bullet-proof Land Cruiser, former Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haq also got a bullet-proof Land Cruiser, Secretary of the Ministry of Interior was also allotted a bullet-proof Land Cruiser. Justice Syed Mazhar Ali Naqvi was also given a bullet-proof Land Cruiser, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani was also allotted a bullet-proof BMW car, former Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani was also given a bullet-proof Land Cruiser, most of them. Bulletproof vehicles are still in use by personalities.
