Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political wing of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas, was martyred in an attack on his residence. Ismail Haniyeh was shot in Tehran. were present in Tehran to participate. 

According to Iran's official agency, the attack was carried out in the morning, Ismail Haniyeh was 61 years old. On the other hand, Hamas has confirmed the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh in a statement. 

It should be noted that a few months ago, 3 sons of Ismail Haniyeh were martyred in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip. Hamas confirmed the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh and said that Ismail Haniyeh was targeted by Jewish agents. 

In a statement issued by the Iranian security forces, it was said that Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard were targeted at their residence in Tehran, and investigations are ongoing to find out the reasons for the incident.
