According to the election schedule issued by the Election Commission, the process of checking the nomination papers is going on. The nomination papers of Farrukh Habib of Stability Pakistan have been approved from the constituency PP 114 of Faisalabad.

PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi from NE-56 will appear before the returning officers today (Thursday) while Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from NE-53 will appear before the returning officers.
Stability Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that he requests the Election Commission and other institutions not to reject any candidate who comes to submit nomination papers. Talking to the media outside the RONA 53 office, Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that this decision of the Election Commission will increase the turnout of the election and people will come out and vote.
He said that no one's papers should be rejected on the basis of political affiliation, he was fully aware of the problems of the area, two hospitals were to be built in the area and the stalled projects were to be completed.
